Meaning making is the process by which we integrate (neural pathways) new information into either existing ideas or we begin to create new nodes or centers of understanding. Specifically, how do your learners assimilate your information in ways that provide new insights? Or, how have you organized your material so that it is easier for learners to do so?

Concept vs Skill

Though this was touched on previously, now is the time to actually break down and document the components of your course and see how much of each (or both) is in each lesson. Then make adjustments as you see fit.
